Queensland & New South Wales Flood Relief Help Needed
With severe storms and floods sweeping through Queensland and New South Wales, the destruction is becoming more widespread each day.
Intense rains have inundated Queensland and New South Wales. Tragically, 12 lives have been lost, many are still missing and the destruction from rising waters has impacted more than 500,000 peoples’ lives. This is a one in 100 hundred year event. The abrupt and uncertain rainfall has devastated Australian communities and they need help.
Disaster Relief Australia volunteers are on the forefront of the emergency response. Our teams on the ground are doing some back breaking work to keep the community safe and get residents back into their homes.
There is a long road to recovery over the coming weeks and months for thousands of people. The floods have destroyed lives and ripped families apart.
Your generous support today will assist Disaster Relief Australia to put teams of volunteers on the ground quickly to assist in the clean up through these incredibly challenging conditions. Flood recovery is dirty work. We roll up our sleeves, cleaning out mud, assist with fence line removal and chainsaw work on dangerous trees and remove rubbish and debris brought about by the floods.
Disaster Relief Australia is there to help people rebuild their lives. But we can’t do it alone. The community needs your urgent help.
We fear that without immediate action peoples’ lives will be disrupted for far too many months to come. Disaster Relief Australia needs your help to provide our volunteer recovery teams with the supplies and support they need to get as many people as possible on the ground to help now. The more funds we raise, the more help we can provide to Australians whose lives have been turned into chaos.
Please give generously to help your fellow Australians recover from this devastating disaster and back into their homes. CLICK HERE to donate today or CLICK HERE to register to volunteer with us on the ground.
