Canterbury Hurlstone Park School of Hospitality

An interactive learning experience for the CEO/Club Secretary, Club Board and Club Managers that meets the current requirements for mandatory training.

As a registered training organization, Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club (trading as CHP School of Hospitality) is approved by the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing and Australian Skills Quality Authority to deliver mandatory director and club manager training.

This course is a one-day interactive workshop designed to enhance your club governance knowledge whilst engaging with fellow board members and senior management.

Also available via correspondence, this method offers the flexibility to self-pace your study at home with the help and support of a qualified trainer.

For group bookings we can provide a trainer to conduct the program at a suitable date and location for you.

Award: On successful completion of the training a Statement of Attainment will be awarded in the following 3 Governance Units as stated in the OLGR regulations:

BSBGOV401A – Implement Board Member Responsibilities
Skills and knowledge required to undertake the diverse roles and responsibilities required of a Board member.

BSBGOV402A – Work within Organisational Structure
Skills and knowledge required to be an active participant in the governance activities of a Board, with an understanding of the roles and relationships to other roles on the Board and within the organisation.

BSBGOV403A – Analyse Financial Reports and Budgets
Skills and knowledge required to analyse financial reports and budgets as a member of a Board of governance of an organisation.
