Russell Corporate Advisory embodies a team of professionals to deliver a range of services focussed on improving the performance and long-term viability of business and clubs. These services are provided using a team of qualified long-term staff, who all have a long history working in the hospitality sector, but particularly with registered clubs.
Our services include financial and solvency advice, strategic and business planning, operational performance analysis and improvement, compliance review and analysis, short and long term cashflow and profit forecasting. We also provide advice on the effectiveness of the governance framework within clubs, which addresses a broad range of issues, but the simplest summary of this service is assessing whether the club and its board can demonstrate compliance with the basic Corporations Act principle of sound business judgement.
Russell Corporate Advisory has also developed complex budgeting and forecasting tools which are used in providing advice on the feasibility and viability of investment opportunities and developments including projects in the retail, accommodation, childcare, healthcare, and seniors living sectors. We also have extensive experience in conducting due diligence review of opportunities, particularly amalgamations.

In the current COVID-19 crisis, we can assist clubs is assessing their true position and provide advice on solvency and safe harbour concepts. Greg Russell has been a registered liquidator since 1992 and has acted as an expert witness on arrange of solvency matters and other issues related specifically to the registered club sector.
He also acts as Independent Chairman of risk and governance committees for registered clubs and other not for profit entities.
